    Description

    This is an important strength exercise that uses almost the whole body to support and lift the weight, the legs, bum, and back are all strengthened and developed.

    Instructions

    With feet under the olympic bar, grasp bar at least shoulder width apart, grip can be overhand or one hand under and one hand over to improve control of the bar. Starting with legs bent, bending from hips, drive up with legs and stand up straight with weight arms hanging, lean-back and hold, lower weight slowly to floor and repeat.
